ESN Neurochemistry Initiative Funding 2025 – Call for Applications

Each year, the European Society for Neurochemistry allocates resources to facilitate the organization of neurochemistry-related events, including international conferences, symposia, workshops, and meetings across Europe. This “Neurochemistry Initiative” aims to enhance the visibility of neurochemistry as a scientific discipline within Europe and to promote the European Society for Neurochemistry among researchers. A maximum funding amount of 2,000 Euros may be awarded per application to support suitable events.

1. Only active members of the ESN are eligible to apply; applications from ESN Council members or requests for personal travel grants to scientific events will not be accepted.

2.The completed application form must be submitted to the ESN Secretary via email at esn.neurochem.secy@gmail.com by March 15, 2025. It is important to note that Event Liability Insurance is a requirement for funding.

3. The ESN Council will review the applications, and the ESN Secretary will inform the applicants of the decisions by the end of March, 2025.

4. Successful applicants are required to confirm their acceptance of the funding. By accepting the funds, they agree to prominently display the ESN sponsorship (including the logo) in all promotional and announcement materials, whether printed or electronic, as well as in the Book of Abstracts. A copy of the Abstracts Book or a link to its electronic version should be forwarded to the ESN Secretary, along with a brief report detailing how the ESN support was utilized after the event's conclusion.
